Materials:
Half a yard of ribbon
Needle and thread
Hot glue gun

Instructions:
These
rosettes can be hot glued to anything: bow centers, headbands, pinafores...anything at all!. 7/8 grosgrain ribbon will work just fine, but feel free to experiment with other ribbon types, widths and lengths. This is a very forgiving craft.

Take about a 1/2 yard of ribbon and hand gather one edge the length of the ribbon. Tie off the thread so it stays tightly gathered. Then wrap the gathered ribbon around itself to form a rosette. A little hot glue will hold it in place when you are done. Glue it to whatever clip or headband you want.

Another Method:
Use a length of wired ribbon and remove the wire from one side of the material, leaving the other side wired. Gather the ribbon on the wired edge, pulling the wire down as you gather. Then, roll the wired edge of the ribbon. Once finished rolling, pinch the wired ends together, use the extra wire to wrap tightly back around the rolled base.

Yet Another Method:
Fold the right end of a length of ribbon down diagonally. Tightly roll the strip two turns to the left, then fold the left end back and down. Holding the tail firmly, roll another half turn to the left. Fold the left end so the bottom edge is now on top. Continue to roll and fold until there  is only a 1" tail remaining on the left. Bring the tails together and wrap with wire to secure.
